Website (www.dollshousemouldings.co.uk and www.dollshousemouldings.com), is owned and operated by Dolls House Cottage Workshop, established in the East Midlands, England in 1992. Starting life in a workshop based at the back of a cottage in Long Eaton, later moving to Sawley Marina in 1995 where the business remains to this day. We use the terms "we" and "ourselves" throughout this site to refer to the business name “Dolls House Cottage Workshop”. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
These apply to any order placed through the website; you must read these general terms and conditions of sale. By placing an order through this website, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these in full. We have taken all reasonable precautions to try ensure all prices and descriptions of products are accurate. However, when ordering, please note that:


ACCEPTANCE OF YOUR ORDER

Products remain our property until we have received payment in full from you. Card payments are subject to authorisation by your card issuer and payment must be made at checkout when you place your order. If your payment is rejected after goods are dispatch, payment must be made or the products returned within 30 days, in the same condition that you received them, and at your own expense. We reserve the right to charge for any damage to any product that is subject of an unpaid order.

 

PAYMENT METHOD

Orders can be paid using PayPal or credit and debit cards via NOCHEX. 

All customers please fill in the required details on the order form at checkout, then select PayPal or NOCHEX as the payment method. Login to PayPal to complete your purchase or enter your card details on the NOCHEX page to complete the order. International customers are able to view prices in Euros and US Dollars but payment will be automatically processed in pound sterling, please be aware of this when checking your bank statement.
 

DELIVERY

Delivery timescales vary depending on products ordered, delivery address and chosen service. We aim to dispatch all products to UK and International destinations within one working day with Royal Mail First Class, Priority service.

International customers: Please include your full delivery address and phone number at checkout. 
Customs may need to contact you for help clearing your parcel, reducing possible delays.

All items will be carefully packed with appropriate protection for their long journey.

Any payments made by you, our customer to ourselves for postage & packing (shipping) will be used towards the shipping costs at the point of booking in your parcel. 

If you have taken advantage of our free shipping offer then we will pay the shipping costs for you at the point of booking in your parcel, you will not be paying for shipping.

Any additional charges that may be requested by customs or a currier, for duties, taxes and handling will be payable by yourself, our customer, not by ourselves. These charges are not our responsibility therefore we will not be liable to pay these charges either for you or on your behalf.  

Some destination restrictions may apply. We will monitor each countries clearance rate and may add and remove restrictions accordingly.

 
We reserve the right to cancel orders and refund if we find the address details to be wrong or delivery zone entered incorrectly.

IN STOCK

Every product that is in stock is available to order. The quantity of each item is maintained by stock control software. Therefore if you require 10 items and only 9 are available, a message will appear before you reach checkout. This prevents you as a customer paying for items that are out of stock.

Foundation houses are sometimes made to order if their not ready to go. In this case you will see a notice on the product page stating how long you will need to wait from placing an order. By placing an order of a product with this message visible, you are agreeing to pay and wait for that product to be made specifically for you.    

RETURNS POLICY

Please check the products you receive against your order. If a product is damaged, incorrectly supplied or if you change your mind and simply want to cancel your delivered order, you are required to inform us by post or e-mail within 14 days of delivery. The product must be returned to us within 30 days of delivery. Please note that we are unable to accept the return of any damaged, incorrectly supplied or cancelled products, if we have not been informed within 14 days of delivering them. Products should be returned in their original packaging, promptly at the customer cost. If you choose to return a product to us, we will not be responsible for any loss or damage in transit and we reserve the right to charge you or not to refund any amounts attributable to such loss or damage. We therefore recommend that you use a recorded delivery service.

Returned by Currier or Royal Mail

If the goods are returned to us due to not being able to deliver, we reserve the right to refund payment but retain the full cost of postage we paid. This may be more than the amount you originally paid because we subsidise some of the cost against the order value. Alternatively we can resend the goods providing the postage is paid in full at the standard rate (set out by our Currier or Royal Mail) as we may have already lost money from the first attempt

RETURNS OF DISCOUNTED GOODS

When one item is returned that was ordered within a deal, example buy one get one half price, then the refund will be for the half price item. If both items are returned, then the refund will be as ordered, one at full price and one half price.
